Fighting to Protect the Bears Ears National Monument
Fighting to Protect the Bears Ears National Monument: Pres. Trump’s action to revoke & replace Bears Ears Monument is an attack on tribes with regional ties and an affront to millions who support public lands.
Act Now: Impeach, please?
Sample letter you can alter and/or send to your Congress Persons: Hello. Republicans disregard the Constitution and support Trump international organized crime family instead. Given the President’s conduct, Congress had no choice but to open an impeachment inquiry. This is a grave step, necessary to defend our nation, it's Constitution and people.
The call record and testimony from top Trump officials show that what the President did was both wrong and illegal. He asked Ukraine to interfere in American elections, blocked military aid to a U.S. ally, tied those two together in a bribery scheme for his personal benefit, and obstructed Congress to cover it up.
The question now is whether congressional Republicans will honor their oaths and hold the President accountable. If instead they vote to put this president above the law, that would put our democracy and our system of checks and balances in great jeopardy.
President Trump does not respect his oath or our laws. He broke multiple laws to try and cheat to win next year’s election. When he gets caught breaking rules, he often avoids accountability by breaking even more rules. If our members of Congress vote to put him above the law by not voting for impeachment, he will feel free to continue abusing his office and altering American policy for his own financial and political benefit. There is no telling what he might try to do next; except continuing his continual crime spree. Thanks for your time and attention. Yours Truly,

climate emergency is the worst problem for all globally. Exactly, even though violence is a delusional direction and more than exponentially worse than the illusion of non-violence’s illusory direction, “…we(e),…” must still struggle with the illusion of non-violence, whilst walking it’s path; no? Yes, what we possess can possesses us, and greed, as well as it's God avarice, are aweful; yet, those perspectives have been defined by our historically flawed paradigms. For e.g., the bi-polar axi of global supposed power, totalitarian, socialist (which are notsee, materialist also) and notsee, republican, capitalist (which are totalitarian, materialist also), while mirroring each other, are also just a two pronged spearhead of the global oligarchy; based on the non-renewable energy sources industrial complexes directives- unending unnecessary global war making the biggest carbon bootprint. Their dictating that fossil fuels, specifically, be 'used' predominently has determined all technocracies socio-economic interlocking and laced systems are based on scarcity, the devolutionary direction's opposite of the evolutionary one's abundance; which is nature, reality's base, instead. That has determined that your run of the mill, everyday greed is the problem; for, in a world where "...we(e),..." walked in nature's balance, giving back to it's abundance, using only renewable energy sources, greed of that kind wouldn't be as problematic- no? How dare you corporate agents, like Jonathan Franzen? Humanity has placed on the curent and upcoming generations the unexercised responsibility of their great, grand, and fathers on their shoulders, they must exercise the responsibility for six generations at once; now you dare to say even if they can succeed you won't let them- you must extinct the species with you meism, extremism, narcissism, nihilism, materialism, avarice, criminal insanity? How would you describe the differences between you and the typically described devil? You think the billions are going to let you premeditatedly murder them because you've forgotten how, or decided to not be, human, or even life itself? Evolution demands we adapt to reality, not the wants of the global oligarchy, the worldly world; which you are preaching for. The impetus behind the evolution, volition, will to live, not being destroyed by you yet, demands we live; it's called a heart, gloogle it. The corporate structure's convolution programming all to be somewhere on the extinction highway, in the direction of devolution, has no right to continue that or to propagandize their criminal insanity anymore! The multi-media conspiracy, "...we(e),..."'s airwaves, must be expropriated by the people for the will of The Earth- every channel must give an hour before work and an hour after workers get home, daily, to the people's programming! Just because you don't know how, or have forgotten how to be, doesn't mean trillions of living beings must die. Darwin said it best, evolve or die; and you can commit suicide if you like, "...we(e),..." will not only be alival instead of survival, but, we will strive, thrive and defeat your defeatism, forever. Yes, it's a climate emergency. Hear, hear, growing in the evolution isn't only forever, it's every millisecond. Never lay down when you fall. Billionaires stealing food from the mouths of babes; disgusting. Don't allow any cuts to the minimum an advanced society can do for the hungry, here the program SNAP; please. Viva la evolucion :) reality

'Story Behind Dylan Thomas’s “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night”'...
...and the Poet’s Own Stirring Reading of His Masterpiece, “Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”:
BY MARIA POPOVA: “Poetry can break open locked chambers of possibility, restore numbed zones to feeling, recharge desire,” Adrienne Rich wrote in contemplating what poetry does. “In so far as poetry has a social function it is to awaken sleepers by other means than shock,” Denise Levertov asserted in her piercing statement on poetics. Few poems furnish such a wakeful breaking open of possibility more powerfully than “Do not go gentle into that good night” — a rapturous ode to the unassailable tenacity of the human spirit by the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (October 27, 1914–November 9, 1953). Written in 1947, Thomas’s masterpiece was published for the first time in the Italian literary journal Botteghe Oscure in 1951 and soon included in his 1952 poetry collection In Country Sleep, And Other Poems. In the fall of the following year, Thomas — a self-described “roistering, drunken and doomed poet” — drank himself into a coma while on a reading and lecture tour in America organized by the American poet and literary critic John Brinnin, who would later become his biographer of sorts. That spring, Brinnin had famously asked his assistant, Liz Reitell — who had had a three-week romance with Thomas — to lock the poet into a room in order to meet a deadline for the completion of his radio drama turned stage play 'Under Milk Wood', Dylan Thomas, early 1940's. In early November of 1953, as New York suffered a burst of air pollution that exacerbated his chronic chest illness, Thomas succumbed to a round of particularly heavy drinking. When he fell ill, Reitell and her doctor attempted to manage his symptoms, but he deteriorated rapidly. At midnight on November 5, an ambulance took the comatose Thomas to St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York. His wife, Caitlin Macnamara, flew from England and spun into a drunken rage upon arriving at the hospital where the poet lay dying. After threatening to kill Brinnin, she was put into a straitjacket and committed to a private psychiatric rehab facility. When Thomas died at noon on November, it fell on New Directions founder James Laughlin to identify the poet’s body at the morgue. Just a few weeks later, New Directions published The Collected Poems of Dylan Thomas (public library), containing the work Thomas himself had considered most representative of his voice as a poet and, now, of his legacy — a legacy that has continued to influence generations of writers, artists, and creative mavericks: Bob Dylan changed his last name from Zimmerman in an homage to the poet, The Beatles drew his likeness onto the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Christopher Nolan made “Do not go gentle into that good night” a narrative centerpiece of his film Interstellar. Upon receiving news of Thomas’s death, the poet Elizabeth Bishop wrote in an astonished letter to a friend: It must be true, but I still can’t believe it — even if I felt during the brief time I knew him that he was headed that way… Thomas’s poetry is so narrow — just a straight conduit between birth & death, I suppose—with not much space for living along the way. In another letter to her friend Marianne Moore, Bishop further crystallized Thomas’s singular genius: I have been very saddened, as I suppose so many people have, by Dylan Thomas’s death… He had an amazing gift for a kind of naked communication that makes a lot of poetry look like translation. Dylan Thomas is that rare thing, a poet who has it in him to allow us, particularly those of us who are coming to poetry for the first time, to believe that poetry might not only be vital in itself but also of some value to us in our day-to-day lives. It’s no accident, surely, that Dylan Thomas’s “Do not go gentle into that good night” is a poem which is read at two out of every three funerals. We respond to the sense in that poem, as in so many others, that the verse engine is so turbocharged and the fuel of such high octane that there’s a distinct likelihood of the equivalent of vertical liftoff. Dylan Thomas’s poems allow us to believe that we may be transported, and that belief is
itself transporting."....
Do not go gentle into that good night
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Tell Governor Northam to Keep His Promise on Natural Resources Funding
Tell Governor Northam to Keep His Promise on Natural Resources Funding: In 2018, Governor Northam made a bold commitment to dedicate 2 percent of the state budget to protecting our state’s natural resources. The biennial budget is his opportunity to realize this ambitious goal. Governor Northam has the opportunity to protect our air, water, and land and make certain that Virginia steps into the next decade as a leader on protecting the environment.
By increasing the percentage of the general fund that is designated for natural resources, we can strengthen and continue the vital work that is necessary to ensure cleaner air and water, improved wildlife habitat, and more land for all Virginians to enjoy. Our state agencies will also have the resources they need to hold polluters accountable in Virginia.
Join us in calling on Northam to keep his promise on conservation funding. Without added resources now, our air, land, and water remain at risk.

A twig of poetry relates :)
If
One lived as prayer,
Their light adding
To the well of light,
Their every step in grace,
They left no footprints,
That will echo on in
All ways, always.
(Written in memory of Mother Theresa)
Unparalled, words cannot express our gratitude, not even theirs. Thanx- have a great eve' :)
