Hear, hear. Exactly, I wrote a poem about it, just like I did when Bush, Sr., unnecesarily went to war in the 90's in Iraq. Afghanistan was one of the poorest nations on the planet, in rubble, getting UN relief that was well needed, etc.. International pressure could have got them to eventually hand Bin Laden over, instead; i.m.h.o.. The supposed left at the time was cool with it because "woman would have a better position in society after the war"; well that didn't work out- just ask RAWA. By the by, king george and his dick, cheney, purposely didn't prevent the terrorist attacks on 9-11-01 along with the elite of the republican conspiracy; the start of this country's invisible power grabs and coups- and it's downfall. It was mostly done to take the millenial peace dividend and give it all to the military, intelligence and police industrial complexes. Thanx; have a great day :) reality
