I've been advocating for decades on this, creating twigs of poetree to do the same. I've thought it best to alter the political paradigm by not using the rhetorical catrch phrases that plug people in, send up read flags, are positions and phrases historically struggled against; which has worked across the land. For e.g., banning large capacity magazines for all and military weapons; and calling them military weapons to get that reality to be widespread and understood. So, military weapon control, which of course is the actual case; other miltary used weapons aren't allowed to be used by citizens in public, etc.. Another perspective helps us to understand that the Gov't, and the republican party specifically, aren't actually struggling as they could against these domestic terrorist attacks. For e.g., if there was a domestic terrorist attack daily in any other country on the planet, law enforcement and/or the military would round up the white supremacist groups leaders, prosecute, and if found to deserve the death penalty, execute them- period. We can stop terrorist attacks any where on the planet except the US? The cowering to subjugation of the polity, specifically, to organize them to vote more law enforcement, which is more republican, etc., is overtly the object of these attacks in general; tragically. So much proof of this, police used to just wait until the shooter's were done, and tag and bag bodies; re: Virginia Tech, etc.. Thanx, have a great day :) reality
